The Whisky Club Celebrates it's  1st year in Business Anniversary June 2023!

The Whisky Club's  first location, located at 425 Alvarado Street, in the heart of downtown Monterey, CA  includes a Tasting Room and Bottle Shop specializing in Whiskies from Scotland, Bourbons and Ryes from the USA, and International Whiskies from Australia, Belgium, France, India, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Sweden, Whales and beyond!   TWC is open to the public later in the week and weekend afternoon and evenings (please see contact page for current hours), and accepts reservations for private events and tastings during the day and earlier in the week when not open to the public.

Our bottle shop has a majority of the bottles in the tasting room for off sale purchase as well as other unique and hard to find expressions.  In addition to our great selection of whiskies, the bottle shop has other spirits as well, including over 40 expressions of gin, a handful of tequilas, amaros, aperitifs, cognacs, etc. so we can be a one-stop unique and service oriented spirits purchasing experience for any gathering, party or expanding one's personal collection.    The Bottle shop has expanded to include local Monterey County delivery within 10 miles of the DT Monterey as well as shipping to 8 Western states  (CA, WA, OR, AZ, NV, NM, ID & parts of Colorado).

Whisky Tours, Tastes and Toasts!   Over 600 Expressions and 70 Tours to Select

Our whisk(e)y tasting programs in DT Monterey at in the Tasting Room consist of Tours, Taste's or Toasts.  The tours are .75 ounce pours of  3-4 expressions of Whiskies from a type, region or distillery and are served on a TWC tour board with dram glassware and range in price from $27 to $200.  We serve each expression neat; ice is available upon request and will be served on the side as well as mixers for any interested.  One can also order a 1 ounce taste or 2 ounce pour of the over 600 expressions of whiskies available on the the 14 foot shelves filled with bottles behind our 34 foot redwood bar in the tasting room and range in price from $8-$500 an ounce. Find a new favorite expression you enjoy?  The Bottle shop is well stocked with similar inventory and ready for you to browse and purchase a new or old favorite expression.  For private events, we will often provide drink tickets for a welcome drink or specific price point tour hosted, and additional pours or tours can be purchased by the individual or host--all details to be discussed prior to confirmation of reservation of the service and  space.
