For centuries, the art of Scotch and Whisky making has been appreciated and valued by connoisseurs and novices alike. Scotch and Whisky have never been as globally popular as they are today.  The Whisky Club and TWC11 have been established so locals, visitors and whisk(e)y enthusiasts have an opportunity to experience various and many unique expressions of whiskies and other spirits from across the world.  In addition to an amazing selection of whiskies, TWC offers Cocktails,  wine and draft beer as well as Mocktails and N/A Beer, Small Bites and Desserts.

The Whisky Club is a place to enjoy and experience many different expressions respectfully and maturely.  It takes great effort to produce whiskies, as well as other spirits, many not enjoyed for decades thanks to discerning palates and patience, and spirits all throughout the world.   TWC was founded with great appreciation and knowledge of the distilling process, engineering, farming, sustainable practices, innovation and global partnerships the industry has cultivated for centuries.  In addition, there is deep respect for the beauty of the land and waters that provide the raw ingredients of so  many great whiskies to be produced and the many distilleries and companies and even families who continue to explore and invest in this great craft, providing great products throughout the world. 

The Whisky Club in Downtown Monterey has  limited production Scotch, USA Bourbons and Ryes, International whiskies, many other spirits as well as the expressions we’ve come to appreciate and enjoy over the years available in both the Tasting Room and Bottle Shop.  The Tasting Room features over 600+ expressions of whiskies  for one to taste or imbibe as well as many unique selections  of different spirits and bottles in the Bottle Shop.  It is the intention that one can experience a 1-2 ounce pour of a whisk(e)y before purchasing an entire bottle; in fact, we have several collectors and investors who visit that enjoy pours of bottles they have in their personal collection that they have not opened yet.  

The Whisky Club (TWCs) Tasting Room--Tours, Taste's, & Toasts

The Whisky Club Tasting Room, consists of a 1 ounce Taste or 2 ounce Pour of any whisk(e)y expression on our shelves (currently over 600 expressions) served neat, on the rocks, or however you’d like to enjoy.  In addition, The Whisky Club has "Tours" which highlight 2-4, .75 pours of whiskies, gins and dessert spirits with a focus on  type, region and brand--it's a great way to experience new expressions and future favorites.  One can also enjoy small bites and desserts, classic cocktails with a nod to the past.  Our standard recipes can be substituted with any spirit located on our shelves of your choosing (upcharge possible)

Bottle Shop

Peruse our website or inquire if it’s available in the bottle shop for purchase to enjoy at home or gift to a friend or loved one. The Monterey location Bottle Shop is uniquely stocked with the majority of expressions that are carried at TWC's tasting room as well as many bottles that are uncommon and hard to find. The Whisky Club team  is ready for the challenge to find the perfect personal selection or a perfect gift for the discerning enthusiast. The Bottle Shop can also assist in sourcing and purchasing rare and collectable whiskies so be sure to challenge us to find that special bottle you’ve been wanting to share with friends or add to your personal collection anytime!
